Bathhouse Babe

Hanging in the entrance hall of Ağa Hamamı, the oldest Turkish bath in Istanbul, is a striking portrait of a nude woman seated on a stool. She appears majestic, calm, and powerful all at once. She is the inspiration for this piece, one of my first serious attempts at animation.

I pictured a glorious trans body emerging from the stool itself. Taking up space without apology. Softness and strength coexisting.
